Pre-marital Counseling
Have you ever thought it was strange that our culture doesn’t do much to help people prepare effectively for marriage? Think about it—you prepare for your career by studying for years. You prepare for a marathon by training for months. But getting married involves a commitment that goes way beyond either of those things, yet many people spend more time planning and preparing for their ceremony than they do laying a foundation for the years of marriage that follow it. We believe that one aspect of living well is doing what we can to set you up for success in your marriage by providing a standard of pre-marital counseling. Redeemer’s program, which utilizes the Prepare-Enrich curriculum, is designed to help you get your married life started on the right food by helping you discover potential problems as well as developing strategies for dealing with the conflicts and bumps in the road that naturally come up in all marriages. We recommend that all couples who are considering marriage go through a pre-marital counseling program. Completing this program allows you to qualify for a 90% discount on your marriage license, and it is a great investment of time that you can make to help lay a strong foundation for a marriage that can go the distance. Call us at 918 299-1989 for more information.
