Have you ever considered going on a short term mission trip? You can bring Pervasive Hope to a broken and hurting world while forming deeper personal relationships with Jesus and each other. Redeemer High school and middle school students take mission trips during Spring Break and Adult and Family mission trips happen at various times throughout the year.
If you are interested in participating in an Adult or family mission trip, please click here to access current mission trips available through Power of a Nickel. This ministry, founded and run by two Redeemer members, organizes and facilitates short-term mission trip opportunities with a medical focus. Typically, they evaluate and treat patients, make referrals to local health facilities if necessary, serve as educational resources, immersing themselves in the local culture, encouraging local volunteers and more. Teams are made up of licensed physicians, medical students, other healthcare providers, and non-medical volunteers to serve as "helpers: Redeemer has a history in this that is not just medical, but, also, of housebuilding and micro loan services for women in this impoverished community.
