Children's Ministries

Klub House 10  Children in 1st-4th grade are invited to join us Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m. in room 106 A & B in Kid’ s Place-Klub House 10. This is where we will gather each week for fellowship, fun, food and studying God’s Word. We will be using state of the art technology to tell the timeless message of truth in God’s Word. We believe kids are world changers and their spiritual foundation is important. By teaching kids to develop a biblical foundation we can impact their everyday choices and actions.  To see the current schedule of teaching topics, click here.

Kids Korner Children Pre-K & Kindergarten are encouraged to join us Sundays at 10:00 a.m. in room 112 in Kid’s PLACE-Kids Korner. This is where we will gather each week for fellowship, fun, food and learning about Jesus. We combine a bible story with an activity and personal application at their age level. This weekly curriculum engages kids’ hearts and minds with trustworthy truths for their everyday lives. Kids will learn how much Jesus loves them and draw closer to Him.

Churchtime each Sunday is at 8:45 and 11:00 a.m. for children who are in Pre-K or Kindergarten join us for an hour of fun.  We will be teaching kids transformational truth of God’s Word. Through creatively taught bible stories and active learning, kids can begin to realize that church is fun and God’s love for them is real.

Klub House 11  During our Sunday 11:00 a.m. Worship Service, kids 1st-4th grade will experience worship in the sanctuary with their parents and then leave to a creative and age-appropriate curriculum that includes fun and focused learning. We help kids “walk the talk”. We will help kids dig deeper and build Christ centered attributes into their lives. We want kids to know Christ and grow in Christ.  This curriculum is different from the curriculum at 10:00 a.m.

If you are interested in teaching at 6-week session or just helping one Sunday at one of these great opportunities to serve our kids please email Soni by clicking here or call her at 918-299-1989 x219.

It meets on Wednesdays from 12:00-2:00pm at Mrs. Chalker's home where we bring our "brown bag" lunches to eat together, have Bible study and swim.  This summer (2013) we will be studying "My Master's Plan" - learning that Jesus has a perfect plan for our lives and that living out His plan is the ultimate act of obedience.  Click here to sign up!

In-Reach - Opportunities to Serve at Redeemer

WORSHIP DESIGN TEAM
Volunteers are needed to assist with bringing to fruition through decorations and backdrops the vision of Matt, Joe and Mike for sermon series as well as for the seasons and special events of Redeemer. Click here to email Cherie Yaeger if you are interested in becoming a part of the Worship Design Team or if you have questions.   REMEMBER: Don't worry about your skill level: God equips those He calls...

JAVA TEAM
Do you enjoy a steaming cup of coffee in the morning before you enter the worship service? Do you have an interest in greeting people and welcoming visitors to Redeemer? We have the perfect opportunity for you to accomplish all of these goals in a single ministry. Redeemer is moving toward a change in our current Coffee Ministry, with the hope of making coffee more accessible and attractive in the Welcome Center on Sunday mornings. This small effort could create a more hospitable atmosphere and a catalyst for greeting, congregating and visiting. But we need your help to get this service brewing! If you would be interested in serving on our newly forming Java Team, please click here to email Kristi or call her at 918 299-1989 Ext 139.

SUNDAY NURSERY TEAM  The nursery is looking for adult volunteers and/or paid workers who love little ones! Would you be willing to help out on Sunday mornings during the 11:00am service? Please contact Missie Chapman for more information - click here to email or call her at 918 299-1989 ext. 115.

CHILD SAFETY TEAM A lot of volunteers are needed to continue to provide a safe, high-quality children and youth environment.  While many adults are currently serving in specific ministry leadership roles for which they have been trained, we are in need of several more who—on a rotating basis—would be able to provide extra sets of eyes and ears as well as a positive presence. This service doesn’t require any technical ministry or teaching experience but would require you to be flexible and responsive to the requests of our leaders based on their specific needs. It does require a standard background screening to be on file with the church which will be provided at no cost to you after completing our online authorization.

If enough adults make themselves available we can easily meet this need. If you are interested in learning more about opportunities to serve with children or youth please contact our Children’s Ministry staff via e-mail here or by calling 918-299-1989.

Did you know that almost every week we have young families visiting Redeemer? Their number one question when they walk in the door and drop their kids off is “Will my child be safe here?” If they feel the answer is “yes,” they will likely return week after week, hearing the life-changing message of the gospel and finding ways to connect and grow with our community. If they feel the answer is “no” they will walk out the door and never come back.

Helping provide a safe, fun environment for our children isn’t just babysitting. It is a vital part of the mission of God. It is a key part of how we are reaching out to families. And you can be a part of it. Won’t you join us today?
