Support & Care
Congregational Care Team
The Congregational Care Team is committed to providing support and encouragement during times of difficulty and stress that we all face from time to time. Support is provided in a number of different ways through a variety of ministry situations. Contact Jenny Tallent, tallent@rcctulsa.org or 299-1989 x230, if you have or are aware of a particular situation that we might be helpful with.
The Redeemer Plan
The Redeemer Plan is a support ministry to individuals, couples, or families. It normally consists of two to three visits with appropriate members of the Redeemer ministry team. While these visits should not be confused with professional psychotherapy, they are designed to provide emotional support and encouragement to those who might be struggling with a variety of issues. After an assessment of needs, people may be provided with a variety of options including referrals to various professionals or organizations within the community. Contact Jenny Tallent, tallent@rcctulsa.org or 299-1989 x230 if you would like more information.
AA and Al-Anon
Alcoholics Anonymous® is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. Both AA and its affiliate organization Al-Anon hold meetings at Redeemer twice a week.
Tuesday nights from 7:30-9:45 p.m. AA and Al-Anon, their family support group, meet in Room 101. Thursdays from 8:00-9:00 p.m. are speaker’s meetings.
Please call the AA Central Service Office at 627-2224 for more information.
